Will 2009 be the year that you finally upgrade from Windows XP to the new OS Windows 7? Were you one of the unfortunate people to upgrade to the buggy resource draining Vista? Or are you perfectly happy with your Windows XP experience with no desire to move on up from your present operating system? There will be a lot to consider when it comes to your operating system of choice in 2009.
I think we are all painfully aware that as much as MS would like to you believe that Vista has been a success for them that it is less than a stellar performer in the view of the public. I for one see Windows Vista fading into the past much the way Windows Me disappeared. Of course through the pain of Windows Me gave birth to the eventual stable OS so many of us enjoy now the XP.
Sadly by all accounts it looks like it may be time to move on from our old OS XP and enter into a new era with Windows 7. By all accounts and reviews that I have seen for the beta release of the new Windows 7. It looks and sounds like MS has managed to streamline the Vista engine get out a lot of the bugs and are on the right path to delivering us a more stable smaller and faster operating system.
MS has managed to fix a lot of “buggy” issues with Vista and put them into the new Windows 7. for example the new window management features make it drop dead simple to arrange your windows for quick and easy access and comparison. The terrible shut down icons for Vista are gone in favor of a simple text menu that you can customize if you choose. The other feature and this not really a feature as it is just better coding is the speed and reliability at which the beta build of Window 7 seems to be producing so far. Keeping our fingers crossed hopefully we will see the final build of Windows 7 in 2009.
